Shelby Treme / Owner
Extension & Blonde Specialist
Shelby is originally from Church Point, LA and currently lives in Scott. She is married to John-Wyatt Treme and has two precious boys, John-William and Brenton. Shelby has always had a love for the beauty industry. After 2 full years of working behind the chair, growing her clientele, and continuing her education, she decided it was finally time to take a leap of faith and open Be You Salon. With the help from her amazing friends and family, Shelby opened Be You in January 2020 and it has been her dream come true. She says, “I couldn’t imagine in 5 years I’d be where I am today, and have the AMAZING work family that I have at my salon. I am truly blessed beyond measures.” Shelby’s vision has definitely come to life and continues to do so! Shelby hopes that everyone who enters the doors of her salon feels welcomed, relaxed, loved and beautiful!
Amelia Racca
Amelia is from the small town known as Cecilia. Where she resides with her family and her sweet puppy dogs! Amelia has always dreamed of creating a huge, impactful career that will change the lives of women everyday. Her number one goal is to allow each client to leave the salon feeling so beautiful and confident. Amelia takes pride in her creative side and is excited for her creativeness to be displayed in her day to day work. Amelia is also thrilled about continuing education; the opportunity to learn new techniques and hopes to one day specialize in natural lived in blondes as well as become certified in our JZ Style’s hand tied extensions! On her own time, you can find Amelia watching crime documentaries or her favorite shows on Netflix. She loves eating sushi and spending time with friends and family.
Hanna Burgess
Hanna is originally from Rayville, La. (pronounced Rayvul, not Ray-ville) and in 2012 decided to move to Lafayette to be closer to her nephews, who are her best friends. From the moment she was behind the chair, she fell in love with the art of blonding, especially Beachy blondes and lived-in blonde. She has spent many hours learning new techniques, either virtually or in-person. One of her favorite things about being a hairstylist is the relationships she has formed with the people that sit in her chair. She truly loves hearing peoples life stories. She is a lover of a lot of things, but if she had to pick just 5 they would be, in no particular order… 1. her dog, Olive. 2. watching her nephews play sports 3. hugs 4. her family 5. queso/Diet Dr. Pepper (both deserve to be recognized)
Lexi Lege / Apprentice Stylist
Lexi is a talented hairstylist with a passion for all things hair and beauty. Lexi graduated from the Aveda Institute of Lafayette and started her career at Be You Salon in February of 2024. In addition to her passion for the beauty industry, Lexi also enjoys competing in rodeos on the weekends and cherishes spending quality time with her family and beloved animals. With a warm and friendly demeanor, Lexi strives to build strong connections with her clients, ensuring that each person who sits in her chair leaves with the hair of their dreams! Bria Bellard / Extension Certified
Bria is originally from Church Point and in 2022 she and her husband built their dream home in Lewisburg. They have been married for five years and have two beautiful daughters, Nova and Josie. After working behind the chair in a Lafayette salon, Bria took a different direction and spent the next 4 years as a cosmetology educator at the Aveda Arts & Sciences Institutes Lafayette. During her years as an educator, she attended many Aveda classes across the southern states to further her education. In February of 2021, Bria found her new home at Be You Salon. She loves all things hair but specializes in all over color services, blondes, and hair extensions! When Bria isn’t in the salon, she’s busy being “mama” and spending time with her sweet family.
Adisyn Wilkins / Apprentice Stylist
Adisyn, also known as "Addi", is our newest apprentice stylist at Be You Salon, having graduated from the Aveda Institute of Lafayette in 2024. Her passion lies in cutting, coloring, and especially makeup, as her artistic nature drives her creativity. Addi strives to take your vision and bring it to life, with the ultimate goal of enhancing your confidence and making you feel beautiful. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Rubi, as well as painting and exploring the outdoors.
